“Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” – Ephesians 6:19-20

Worthy of the Gospel – Part 3

This lesson series began two weeks ago, but the recordings were not usable. The lesson is that we are called to live lives “worthy” of our calling, the Gospel, and the Lord Himself. As we look closer at the language, we learn that “worthy” means to “be in balance.” That is a high calling and with all honesty, impossible; however, we are given help. Last week, As we read Colossians 1:3-10, we learned that God gave us his Word to help us with this endeavor. This week, we learn that God gave us his Holy Spirit to help us in the effort of living lives worthy of of Him.
